Del Ray School of Music

We opened in 2005, and over the past 15 years has become a staple on the Avenue.  We are Alexandria’s all-genre, inclusive music conservatory . We offer a variety of music lessons to students ranging in age from children to adults offering lessons at all levels of expertise from absolute beginner to master level studies.  
Our staff of top notch educators respetfully offers lessons on basically all instruments, guitar, piano, drums, percussion, violin, viola, cello, ukulele, mandolin, banjo, flute, clarinet, saxophone,  We also offer vocal lessons, song writing and composition intensives or trainings. 
The school’s  group classes include the oldest running Rock School program in Northern Virginia and group acoustic guitar classes. 
For younger children our Munchkin and ME (1 – 3 a parent child program ) and Munchkin Rock (4 – 7)

The Dance Academy of Virginia

The Dance Academy of Virginia offers dance classes & camps for ages 2 through adult in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary, musical theater, and hip hop. DAV was created for human connection and empowering students to believe in their unique potential through dance education. Its warm, welcoming atmosphere offers a safe space for holistically supporting students—body, mind, and heart—while maintaining a commitment to excellence in artistic and technical development.
