Springtime: Growing and Renewing

There’s something about spring that tricks us into thinking we’re going to become new people. Like, this is the season we start running at 6 a.m., meal prepping quinoa bowls, and repotting every houseplant like a horticultural goddess. And then… life happens. The truth is, nature might be blooming, but we’re still hitting snooze and eating too much Easter candy. Renewal doesn’t have to be dramatic—it just has to be real.

Here’s the thing: growth doesn’t mean going full chrysalis-to-butterfly in a weekend. It can be as small as drinking more water (yes, iced coffee doesn’t count), stretching for five minutes in the morning, or stepping outside to feel the sun on your face instead of scrolling on your phone. Think of it as “wellness, but make it doable.” Give yourself permission to plant tiny incremental habits this spring—because they’re way more likely to stick and lead to more lasting change.

So this season, let’s trade pressure for presence. Let the flowers and farmers’ markets remind you that progress is quiet and organic (and sometimes covered in pollen). You don’t have to reinvent yourself. Just water what’s already good—and maybe pull a few weeds while you’re at it. Growth looks good on you.
