With January’s theme of New Year, New You, it’s an excellent time to set your 2026 fitness and health goals. For Studio Body Logic and our colleagues in the fitness and health industries, this is our busiest time of the year!
Many of us set New Year’s goals in multiple areas of our lives, including health and wellness. However, life’s busyness often sidelines our goals. Ask yourself what you can realistically do and begin with manageable steps. This approach can make all the difference. Two proactive steps to achieving fitness goals are scheduling fitness time and planning small actions that keep our goals moving forward.
Schedule both the days and fitness time blocks in your calendar. Sign up and commit to ongoing classes.
What small, manageable steps are important for you to incorporate into your daily life? Some suggestions include drinking more water, taking deep breaths at red lights, reaching out to one person you’ve been out of touch with, or playing tourist and visiting somewhere new. The combination of scheduling fitness and incorporating small steps will propel you through the year.
