Find Your Inspiration & Dance Through the Summer

Katherine Horrigan
The Dance Academy of Virginia

Spring is a season of fresh starts and new inspiration, making it the perfect time to set goals and explore new possibilities in dance. At the Dance Academy of Virginia, summer is all about staying inspired, pushing boundaries, and discovering what you’re capable of, whether that’s perfecting a new skill, trying a different dance style, or simply finding joy in movement.

DAV’s summer classes are designed to fuel your passion and growth, with specialized sessions that focus on turns, leaps, flexibility, and performance techniques. These shorter summer sessions give dancers the chance to refine their skills in a focused, encouraging environment.

Summer Dance Camps bring creativity to life with themed weeks full of fun, movement, crafts and imagination. Each week-long summer camp (half day or full day) explores a different theme such as Broadway, Bluey or the Eras tour! Before and after care is also available.

Let the joy of movement ignite your dancer’s creative expression, create memories with friends and light up your life as your dancer performs with confidence. Whether you’re strengthening your foundation or exploring something new, DAV’s summer programs will keep you motivated, challenged, and excited to dance. View the full summer schedule here and get ready  to see your dancer grow and shine bright!
