Mother of Light Center is an independent not-for-profit organization entirely operated and led by volunteers. Founded in 2019, we were called to serve the needs in Alexandria’s Chiralagua community, and have grown to answer this call in new and varied ways each day. In addition to regular food distribution to those in need, Mother of Light Center has a sewing school for single mothers, art therapy for our teen girls, after school programs, Thanksgiving meal & Christmas gift distributions, and much more.
