Rolling Sloane’s is a home based cottage micro bakery specializing in pastries, custom cakes, and other tasty treats. Based out of the Del Ray neighborhood of Alexandria (VA). Using organic and local ingredients wherever possible, we happily service the DC-Maryland-Virginia metro area.

Sloane Hill graduated from the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY in 2008. After graduating, she moved out to the San Francisco Bay Area and worked in a million bakeries and restaurants for amazing people. In 2012 she took the plunge and created Rolling Sloane’s, starting out as a wholesale baker supplying coffee shops around the East Bay. In 2016, some of her best friends in the world built her the iconic Rolling Sloane’s cart, on display every Saturday morning at the Del Ray farmer’s market. In 2021, she moved to Del Ray to be closer to family, where she and her husband now run the bakery out of the home they share with their 3 kiddos.
