Together is a special exhibit by Del Ray Artisans’ outstanding volunteers and board of directors. These members help make Del Ray Artisans a thriving organization that fosters community and promotes creative expression and artistic endeavors in the visual, performing, and applied arts. Come celebrate their dedication and enjoy their artwork.
The members who donated the most volunteer hours from January 2019 through April 2021 were invited to enter pieces. The featured works were selected by curators Amy Kitchin Hower and Joshua Oliveira. A big thank you to the exceptional volunteers who qualified for the exhibit:

Del Ray Artisans is extremely grateful to its members who work tirelessly to make our little corner of the art world successful. Our nonprofit arts organization relies on the dedication, commitment, and generosity of members to provide the high quality exhibits, programs, and special events for which it is well-known.
Reserve a ticket for a half-hour viewing during the extended hours on opening day: Friday, August 6 between 12-9pm. Opening day tickets are not required, but ticket holders have priority entry. The gallery capacity is limited to 10 people at any one time in order to facilitate social distancing.
Gallery hours are First Thursday (Apr-Sept) 12-9pm, Thursday 12-6pm, Friday 12-9pm, Saturday 12-6pm, and Sunday 12-6pm (closed the last Sunday of the month). Del Ray Artisans is ALX Promise certified and committed to the health and safety of our visitors. Please wear a face mask and maintain 6′ of personal space.
The Together exhibit runs August 6–28, 2021 at Del Ray Artisans gallery in the Colasanto Center, 2704 Mount Vernon Avenue, Alexandria, Virginia 22301. The gallery is free, open to the public, and accessible.
