At every rainbow rock show, we collect new or gently used kids items and make sure to find them a good home. Depending on the time of year, we also have annual collections, like swim suits for summer, school supplies, holiday toy drive, or winter coats! We also put together Tot Rock Festivals to collect items on an even greater scale.

First Night Alexandria
First Night Alexandria is a family-friendly, affordable, accessible celebration of the New Year that annually
occupies approximately 20 venues in Old Town and one in Del Ray. First Night Alexandria routinely provides complimentary
admission to active military personnel and to disadvantaged families in this City.
Mindful Junkie
Minfdful Junkie provides mindfulness education across multiple populations including: schools, educators, law enforcement, private, corporate, workshops, and retreats.
Mindful Junkie also teaches Pilates; outdoor classes, one on one, on-site corporate, and more.

A lifestyle brand for dog lovers that includes a website, podcast and locally designed and produced merchadise. PawsGo is the creator and owner of My Dog Digs Del Ray and Relax It’s Del Ray merchandise. Our website includes tips and activities humans and their dogs. PawsGo merchandise can be found at Made in ALX, Art on the Avenue and local pop-ups. PawsGo is a supporter of animal welfare organizations, the sale of several PawsGo items directly benefit these groups.
Choreographers Collaboration Project
The Choreographers Collaboration Project (CCP) is a 501(c)(3) modern dance company founded in 1998 by Mary Jo Smet and Janet Stormes. The company fosters the choreographic process, serves as a lab for emerging choreographers and builds collaborations with artists to inspire creativity and expand audiences for all. CCP introduces modern dance to individuals across generations, cultures, and artistic media, and presents dance performances accessible to the community. CCP has performed throughout Alexandria, VA, and the Washington, D.C. area.

Welcome to UpCycle: a reuse center and making space that encourages creativity, critical thinking, innovation and environmentally sustainable behavior.
UpCycle is a community resource. We collect secondhand materials that are used for arts & crafts and learning purposes. We organize these items and make them available to the public at affordable prices. We have fabrics and sewing notions, high-end artist supplies, various papers and boards, containers, wood bits, office supplies, jewelry and much, much more!
In UpCycle’s studio, you can participate in a workshop, schedule a party or group function, or use the open studio to create your own masterpiece during Tinker Time.
