MULTIPLE RUNNERS: You can now register multiple runners with a single payment. See instructions on registration page.
T-SHIRT: Optional, $10. Order online to be sure your size is available. A limited number will be available for purchase on race day, but we usually sell out by 09:30.
FOOD DONATION: Please support ALIVE! , a nonprofit organization serving Alexandria's needy, by donating two nonperishable food items (cans, boxes) on race day.
COURSE: Flat, fast, USATF-certified course, starts and ends at George Washington Middle School. Conducted by the DC Road Runners Club.
CHIP TIMING: We use Chronotrack, a state-of-the-art disposable chip timing system used by the Marine Corps Marathon and many other large races. This eliminates the need for finish line chutes and bib tear tags.
MINORS: You may register a minor online, but to pick up the bib number we need a signed parental consent form, available here and on race day. The consent form cannot be completed online.
AWARDS: $1000 split by 1st, 2nd, 3rd place overall M+F, plus 1st place M+F masters. Other valuable prizes to 1st, 2nd, 3rd place age group winners. $100 bonus for new course record!

DIRECTIONS:
Metro: Take the blue or yellow line to Braddock Road, walk west a along Braddock Road (under the metro tracks) you will see GW Middle School on the right after the underpass.
From DC: Take the 14th street bridge to VA, exit onto route 1 and drive 2.7 miles to Raymond Ave (just past Target), make a right onto Raymond Ave, and a left on to Mt. Vernon ave, proceed one mile on Mt. Vernon, GW Middle School will be on your left.
From Springfield: Take Route 1 into Alexandria and make a left on Wythe St., continue onto Braddock road (passing under the metro tracks), make a right onto Mt. Vernon Ave, GW Middle School will be immediately on your right.
